Womans Best Friend

I NEVER get tired of taking photos of my baby. He is so sweet and loves to be right near me when I am on my computer. If he is not directly in front of the computer screen waiting for a belly rub then he is in his royal nest taking a cat nap.

Transformer

I was behind this massive truck the other day in my little car. I think it is a concrete mixer. I'm sure it could crush my car. It reminded me of a transformer.

Phoenix Area Super Storm

We had a pretty severe thunderstorm last night in Phoenix and the surrounding area. There were some violent winds that hit the central Phoenix area. Below are some photos from my commute into work this morning.

Hummingbird

I have a hummingbird feeder in my back yard. I make my own syrup. I had a good morning Saturday watching a hummer guarding his territory. He sat on an Ocotillo branch in the shade under the feeder for most of the morning.

When another bird came to feed he would make some clicks and chatter and chase the other bird away. Very entertaining.

Cheap entertainment.

Roadside Feng Shui or Hitchhiker

This morning I took an early morning drive. I live in an area that has a lot of farmland and encroaching suburban housing developments. I was driving down a less traveled rural road passing citrus groves and cotton fields. I drove to the end of the road and back again. As I passed the cotton field again out of the corner of my eye I saw a flash of light. A glint of something shiny, something that did not belong in the dirt along side of the road. I did a U-turn to see what it was.

What is the sound of one Buddha laughing in front of a cotton field?

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Is It Just Me ?

Is it just me or is there a disparity between the amount of skin that the female Olympic beach volleyball players and the male teams?


If having more skin exposed makes it easier to maneuver then why are they women half naked and the men all covered up?

Why are we hiding the Olympic man candy on the sand courts under t-shirts and shorts? They definitely need as much free movement as the women.



When designing for the next Olympics I think a mandatory no shirt rule at the minimum should apply.


Even George W. got into the action. Don't you think it HAD to have something to do with the uniforms?

Bitter Sweet

I have not had time to write in the past few weeks. Since my lst blog I have had a wedding, a funeral and a mini-vacation. Each of these experiences have been thought provoking and I hope to speak about them soon here on my site.

Until I have more time to sit down and write, I'd like to share this nice mini-video clip that I made in Puerto Penasco Mexico. It's just happy and light hearted and I hope the video is not too dark to view.
